James and Janneth Fowler hosted the March, 2022 B.A.S.H. meeting on Sunday the 13th at their home in Corpus Christi.
President and birthday girl Lara Busch called the meeting to order, thanked our hosts and welcomed new member Nick Jones (Victor Aguilar’s friend) and guest Erick Viera (James’ friend). Walt Crawford presented a solid treasurer’s report and Wild Bill Lehfeld presented a brief secretary’s report. Tom Ormrod offered his property on the Medina River near Bandera for a possible summer meeting/camping event. Victor and Wild Bill volunteered for one of the Big Brew teams on Saturday, May 7th. Lara hosted a discussion of different homebrew techniques
There was no competition this month.
As we enjoyed pork ribs, pineapple chicken, pasta salad, collard greens and fried cabbage, we drank a new weissbier from host James. Interesting commercial beers included Lara’s Fair State Brewing Tmave’ Pivo Czech Dark Lager, John Fulton’s Manhattan Project Plutonium 239 Coconut Porter and Paul Holder’s Karbach 2017 Nigel English-style Barleywine.
