The June, 2022 B.A.S.H. meeting AND POOL PARTY on Sunday the 12th was hosted by Jacob Dunson and Cindy Crye at their resort compound in Flour Bluff.
Jack Heim called the meeting to order and presided over the election of the slate of officers nominated during the May meeting : President -- Victor Aguilar, Vice President of Competitions -- Mark Woerner, Vice President of Social Media -- Liz Ackman, Vice President of Social Activities -- Mary Kay Schultz, Treasurer -- Walt Crawford, Secretary -- Wild Bill Lehfeld. The officers’ terms begin with the July meeting. Victor then presided over the rest of the meeting. We approved the competition schedule extension for 8/24 through 6/25. Work on the new club logo continues. We voted to allow future meeting hosts to pick the meeting start time.
Our survey of brewing volume for January through May is as follows: Club – 10 gallons (Big Brew), Wild Bill – 12.5 gallons, Paul Holder – 40 gallons, Adan Suarez – 40 gallons, Chris Ackman – 5 gallons.
The competition this month was open to any style. Double Homebrewer of the Year points were awarded to beers of the featured style (Czech pale lager/premium pale lager, BJCP 3A-3B).
